Toccara Lanett grew up in the suburbs of Washington, DC, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park. Her degree was in pursuit of entertainment hosting, but Toccara quickly realized that her purpose would be better served if she were the entertainer, a task that she had already been carrying on as a cheerleader and dancer. She has an extensive background in cheerleading and stunts from being a competitive cheerleader, and has danced for the teams in Baltimore and Washington in the National Football League. She then began to pursue acting, modeling, and commercial dance, appearing in short films, commercials, music videos and print ads in New York, Philadelphia, and DC.

 

Now based in Los Angeles, Toccara continues her passion for dance, music, and television, with her journey into television and film stunt work to use all of her athletic abilities within her acting. She's all about thrills and adventure, so don't be surprised to hear any stories about her skydiving, scuba diving, flyboarding, or driving ATVs and jet skis.  She can drive a stick-shift and often rents the 3-wheel Polaris Slingshot to cruise around in.  Catch her if you can!
